Description

As Marketing Data Analyst your focus will be to upstream marketing activities and you will work with data on a daily basis and be responsible for driving, developing, managing and analysing market data within the department and with key stakeholders of the business.

You will be interpreting data to find meaning in complex and often ambiguous data. Separate and filter data to identify the most valuable information to use.

You will be creative in what to look for, who to talk to and where to go to find data and information is essential.

In addition, you will be involved in:

  • Leading the day-to-day management of commercial ideas management in the business by capturing ideas, screening, and reporting that informs and facilitates decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Undertaking market analysis and intelligence gathering, both qualitative and quantitative.
  • Gathering and analysing market and business information and suggest data sources for purchase or collection.
  • Conducting research including identifying data, data input, and statistical analysis to generate market reports to support new investment decisions, projects and business development.
  • Coordinating, managing and prioritising multiple research projects simultaneously, including timelines and resourcing requirements e.g. budget and people
  • Gathering market intelligence on the size and growth trends in the market across the various segments, predict market trends and identify potential market leads and commercial opportunities.
  • Gather customer and competitive intelligence
  • Perform route to market analysis to help identify opportunities in our target markets

Profile

You will already have gained at least 1 years experience within a similar role and have a strong passion for data.

You will be a data driven individual and thrive on working with Big Data

Knowledge and experience within Power BI is essential, and knowledge of SQL and Python would be highly desirable.

Ultimately you will be someone who wants to use your ability to interpret data and add value to a business whilst develop a long term career within a successful and supporting business.
