Amazon Operations sits at the heart of the Amazon customer experience. We look after everything from the moment a customer clicks buy, to the moment their item is delivered - from desktop to doorstep. We do things on a massive scale - millions of packages pass through the hands of our Associates every year.

As a business, we do lots of things to attract, engage, support, motivate and enable the brilliant people who make it all happen. At the forefront of that effort, in Europe, sits our WFS (Workforce Staffing) Marketing team - a collective of talented individuals managing the media & marketing strategy, reporting, modelling & analytics, tools & systems. Our goal is attracting hundreds of thousands of associates yearly for various operational business lines (fulfilment centres, transportation, and logistics).

We are looking for a Marketing Data Analyst to support the delivery of our expanding data requirements within WFS Marketing. As a marketing analyst, you will focus on optimizing existing analytical solutions as well as creating new models and reports to enable our marketers to take data-driven decisions about budgets, campaigns and channels.

Key job responsibilities

* Set up and maintain automated data processes

* Create marketing performance & spend dashboards to support business decision-making

* Centralise marketing measurement reporting and synthesise insights to deliver campaign-level performance insights and recommendations for optimisation

* Standardize performance data, develop framework for regularly socializing results and insights, and become a strategic advisor to the marketing team by using historic data to guide their planning process

* Lead team meetings to discuss performance trends and insights with key stakeholders

* Establish strong working partnerships with team members from Marketing, Finance, Data Science, Engineering and other stakeholders

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* Experience in SQL as well as basic Python are essential as the role requires structuring and managing large datasets.

* Experience in building reports and dashboards in Excel, Quicksight or other BI visualisation tools.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Experience working with Alteryx or a similar data transformation tool is desirable but not a must

* Ability to utilise data and insight to "story-tell" in a compelling manner

* Ability to effectively communicate with both business, marketing and technical teams.

* Ability to work collaboratively with non-technical customers and team members and translate business questions into analytical requirements with ease
