Media Data Analyst

We're looking for a experienced data analyst with knowledge of digital media to join one of the big four advertising groups in a role that will drive performance across global media campaigns.

You'll be working amongst some of the brightest minds in the industry to understand client campaigns and use data to provide insights across everything from PPC and Paid social to advanced programmatic.

Key responsibilities

  • Work closely with media and strategy teams to identify new opportunities to improve media performance through insight, analysis and optimization
  • Work with media team to implement data-driven media campaigns
  • Understanding of marketing objectives, from awareness through to demand generation, and the KPIs relevant to each stage & channel
  • Ensure availability of data required for reporting by collaborating with other teams on tagging strategy and data collection templates
  • Analyze performance of digital media campaigns and identify actionable optimizations
  • Summarize performance in client friendly output (excel, PPT, etc.) with clear learnings and takeaways
  • Manage ad hoc client and internal requests for data and insights
  • Dashboard design & implementation
  • Create a reports based on Agreed template at 3 frequencies (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly delivery to the client)
  • Feed into budget planning and future strategic/tactical proposals

Demonstrate skills & experience with:

  • Online & offline media including: PPC, Paid Social, Programmatic & Direct Display
  • Ensure data availability for key performance dashboards
  • Data visualization skills (ideally experience using Google Data Studio)
  • Experience with platforms for key digital partners such as Google products (DV360, SA360, and GA360), Social Media platforms (Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn)
  • Experience with forecasting and setting performance benchmarks
  • Experience in hybrid analytics- ability to identify and link trends cross-channel
  • Strong communication skills - both internally and client-facing
  • Social Listening tools such as Brandwatch/Netbase (not required, but nice to have)
  • SQL experience (not required, but nice to have)
  • Basic Python/R (not required, but nice to have)
