Operations Data Analyst - £30 -£35k depending on experience.

Our client is one of the UK's leading Direct Sales networks, which has been in operation for over 30 years.

They are looking to expand their operations team, which brings them to seeking a proficient Data Analyst with a passion for data management and has analytical mindset to be able to pick up on trends and produce reports on those trends to help the company grow and increase the sales on behalf of their clients.

Purpose of the Role

To take a pivotal and pro-active role in the data management operations of our clients Company. This will be achieved through day-to-day responsibility for effective and secure data management processes and by undertaking continuous assessment and analysis; implementing any subsequent enhancements to those business critical areas. The person will be a lead contact for operational relationships between our client, its cleints and its contracted marketing companies (MCs). The person will produce MI reporting and will highlight and analyse trends which impact the success of sales and fundraising campaigns and business growth. This will also include the accurate production of all necessary reporting for financial payments and reconciliation with clients and MCs. The person will actively support and assist the Operations Manager (OM) in the development of operational enhancement projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • To be the first point of contact for any operational queries from clients and MC's.
  • To lead the day to day operational processing including data imports, exports, invoice reconciliation and digital forms management.
  • To support the OM and ensure Appco UK are meeting all contractual data obligations to both their clients and MCs.
  • To work with the OM in identifying and actioning opportunities for process enhancement and development and to support the OM through change management.
  • To work with internal and external stakeholders on analysing and identifying trends with customer/donor acquisition fail and reject rates and other campaign specific KPI's to improve the profitability of the business.
  • To review campaign financials weekly and to sign off on sales, invoicing, reject tracking, bonds and campaign profitability.
  • To assist the OM in developing and training other members of the Operations team as appropriate.
  • Ad-hoc data reconciliation, trend analysis and supporting the operations team in other duties that may be deemed as reasonably necessary by the OM.

Skills and Attributes

  • Minimum of at least two years' experience managing and analysing data to a high standard
  • Experience in a previous sales/marketing type environment is desirable but not essential
  • Proven excellent customer service
  • Previous experience of successfully working with variety of stakeholders is desirable
  • Consistent accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work
  • Must have excellent organisational skills and possess the ability to prioritise and work with minimum supervision
  • A flexible approach and receptiveness to change
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Pro-active in identifying trends or patterns that have a business impact
  • Solutions-focused attitude
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office packages i.e. Access, Excel and Word (Upper Intermediate)

Working Hours
Normal hours of work are 9.00 am to 5.30 pm although flexibility is required for additional hours and weekend work and meetings as required.
