We're looking for someone like you to join us as Quantitative Analyst to join our team based at our Ipswich, London or Northampton offices.

About the role
Our Forecasting team is responsible for ensuring that our customer demand, gas and generation forecasts are accurate, enabling our trading team to make cost effective trading decisions. The team make continual improvements to our existing methodologies and models whilst managing business critical day to day forecasting tasks, in additional to contributing to long-term projects. As you can imagine the team has been working non-stop this year to try and accurately forecast the effects of the pandemic on energy usage.

Joining a proactive team, you'll have a variety of projects to own and optimise, bridging complex models and practical applications.

You'll build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, using excellent interpersonal, motivational and organisational skills. Your dedication and ambition to progress will be supported through training and career development opportunities.

About you
You'll need to be highly logical and numerate, with some previous experience working in an analytical role. Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential, and a knowledge of Python, SQL and/ or VBA would be ideal.
