Real Estate Data Analyst

The WFM team aims to tactically and strategically optimise workforce efficiency and employee productivity by ensuring resources are in the right roles. The implementation of project Butterfly will also create the conditions for further development and success.

You will partner with and support each division within DWS through the respective Chief Operating Officers to identify and implement WFM opportunities. In addition, you will work very closely with Finance to provide transparency on the known and forecasted workforce costs and with Strategy and Transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading and/ or supporting the setup of Real Estate asset level data sets used for performance measurement (for example asset returns), based on given definitions/ methodologies and team work with respective portfolio management and fund finance teams
Setting up of efficient Excel based links and formulas to translate complex raw data into useful analysis
Reconciling various existing real estate asset level data to identify differences
Preparing reconciliation findings into meaningful reports and presentation to respective teams (for example portfolio management) for decision making
Understanding complex Real Estate financial data and analysing and interpreting numbers for quality reviews
Establishing and maintaining links to various data sources within the Real Estate platform (partially via IT tools or manual data in Excel) and embedding the results into the required analysis
Assisting in project management activities, updates of project status and reports, meeting preparation etc
Assisting in the setup and maintenance of the dry powder analysis - this analysis matches open commitments to investment strategies (regional/sectoral)

Skills & Qualifications:

Relevant industry experience
Very strong analytical skills (including Excel financial modelling) and a very high level of numeracy
Ideally experience in understanding Real Estate Financials
Strong commercial acumen & attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Advanced experience in working with Excel (financial tables, formulas), experience in PPT preferred
Fluent in English, additionally German would be a significant advantage
Ability to work in a team as well as independently
