Regulatory Data Analyst

We currently have an opportunity available for a Data Analyst to join our team working in Exeter. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a salary of £22,500 - £30,000 per annum plus benefits.

About the Data Analyst role:

Our successful candidate will provide analytical and administrative support to the Asset Performance and Innovation team as well as the wider Regulation Directorate (including asset management).

The role will support the analysis of asset data and visualisation of asset performance through reports and dashboards, driving insight and value from our data.

What you'll be doing as our Data Analyst:

Developing and maintaining bespoke reporting analysis on data quality and asset performance.

Supporting the wider business through data provision and analytical services.

Supporting asset economic/performance modelling through an analysis of underlying performance trends and the development of deterioration curves.

Integrate disparate datasets to facilitate further data analytics and insights.

Development and maintenance of Business Intelligence reporting tools and visualisations, that provide insight into asset performance, data quality and the capital programme investment programme.

Providing cross company/sector analysis and visualisations.

Supporting the co-ordination and development of asset data strategies to ensure data is fit for purpose for the next price review.

Actively contribute to the company's adoption of ISO55501, aligning any outputs in adherence with the company's information management strategy.

What we are looking for in our Data Analyst:

Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably in economics, STEM, IT or similar analytical subjects.

Experienced user of analytical software and enterprise data management systems.

Experience of analysis of technical information or reports, and production of briefing notes/reports.

Excellent communication skills, able to communicate verbally and in writing across the business at all levels.

Numeracy Skills - with an ability to grasp complex issues and deal with large volumes of data.
