Based in the north west of England, 20 miles north of Manchester, we provide a personal shopping service to over 2 million customers each year through our mobile App and the Studio and Ace websites.

About the Opportunity

It\'s an exciting time to join Studio as we invest in our Data and Insight capabilities, and we\'re looking for a keen individual to join us on the journey of data transformation. We have huge plans in the Data and Analytics space and are looking for the right candidates to be part of this journey and move forwards as a data driven business.

As Senior Data Analyst, this role will strive to understand the questions colleagues within marketing have, and the problems that they are trying to solve, as well as guiding and mentoring the junior members of the team.

Reporting to the Marketing and Data Product Owner, you will use data to conduct analysis, build and maintain reports/dashboards to help colleagues in Marketing answer those questions, whether ad-hoc or on an ongoing basis.

As Senior Data Analyst you will:

* Understand business questions and challenges from business users

* Prepare and analyse data to answer the business question(s)

* Build reports/dashboards to communicate the answer(s) to the business question(s), iterating as required, and then release them to business users

* Manage and maintain reports/dashboards, adding features/functionality and troubleshooting as required

* Adhere to, champion, and seek to improve Enterprise Data Products and Insight processes and best practices

* Providing coaching, support and guidance to data analysts, contributing to building data analyst capabilities to meet the requirements of Enterprise Data Products and Insight and business needs

* Ensure all team reporting and analysis is accurate and that the business has trust in it

* Strong presentation skills (verbal and written)

* Strong SQL skills

* Ability to build trust and rapport with business users

* Ability to explain data, dashboard, and reporting design concepts and recommendations clearly and succinctly

* Skilled in requirements gathering and analysis of datasets

* Ability to query, cleanse, manipulate, and analyse data with tools/languages such as Excel, SQL, and Alteryx

* Confident querying directly from data warehouses as well as using data in reporting tools

* Successful delivery of reports using different reporting tools such as Business Objects and/or Power BI and/or Excel

* Experience with dashboarding tools such as Tableau, Qlik, and/or Power BI a plus

* Experience delivering as part of an Agile team preferred

* Aptitude and attitude for increasing technical skills

* Excellent critical thinking and solution creation skills

* Ability to deliver in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

* Experience in effectively managing a range of tasks and priorities, simultaneously

* Experience with customer segmentation, campaign data, and Google Analytics a plus
