Mentmore is currently recruiting for a Senior Data Analyst for our client, a leading financial services organisation who undertaking a large-scale digital transformation programme. They are looking to bring on board an experienced Senior Data Analyst with extensive experience with BI & Analytics, relational database, SQL and reporting application experiences.

Key responsibilities:

  • Help define and deliver the future vision of information management and advanced analytics.
  • Drive Business Intelligence and analytics across all areas of the business
  • Plan, develop and implement the requisite resource management, data and technology processes.
  • Worked with a relational database, SQL and reporting application, using reporting applications software such as Tableau.
  • Digital analytics
  • Visualisation tools (eg, Tableau, BOARD, Qlik)
  • Work closely with global business teams in the achievement of business objectives (increase revenue from online subscriptions and delegate sales for events).
  • Perform business analysis to gather user requirements and ensure data items are aligned to key business definitions and metrics
  • Improve the quality and accuracy of BI solutions, monitor overall progress and resolve issues in an automated and streamlined way
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with good senior-level stakeholder management soft skills and competencies

Required skills:

  • 8+ years of data industry experience within financial services and commercially focused organisations.
  • Ability to deliver tailored insight and analysis within fast-moving environments
  • Excellent experiences with a relational database, SQL and reporting application experience using reporting applications software, particularly Tableau.
  • Must have: SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI and Tableau experience
  • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Solid working experiences with digital analytics
  • Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) based degree.
