Bibby Financial Services have an exciting opportunity available for a reliable and enthusiastic Senior Data Analyst to join us on a full-time, fixed-term contract for 6-12 months. This role will be based in Banbury, but hybrid working will also be considered, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary + benefits.

As our Senior Data Analyst, you will be working with architects, developers and business SME's to support the development of operational reporting, business intelligence and data integration solutions.

Your key duties as our Senior Data Analystwill include:

- Supporting analysis and producing requirements to support project/BAU needs around data solutions
- Working with the BI developers to produce clear, accurate documentation that combines technical and business drivers
- Working with key business stakeholders, analysts and business SME's to convey vision and priorities
- Communicating with internal customers, suppliers, or others as required to stay abreast of BFS change and industry best practice
- Proactively communicating and collaborating with internal customers to analyse information needs and support the validation of solutions versus the customer need
- Model management and Report creation
- Alerting the wider business to issues with the quality of data and highlighting how the Data team or a technical solution can help improve this
- Championing industry best practice data, tools and process across the business

What we are looking for in our ideal Senior Data Analyst:

- Experience of working in a dispersed project team with the ability to work on their own and also as part of a team
- Proven Scrum Master capabilities
- Advanced Power BI knowledge and ability to deliver reporting using this tool
- Advanced DAX skills for use in Power BI report creation and Visual Studio Model creation and management
- Basic knowledge of and ability to build and manage Power Apps for use in BI reporting
- Experience of querying, analysing and reporting on data from multiple systems/sources
- The ability to develop strong and pragmatic relationships with business SME's
- Azure DevOps experience for managing backlog and sprints boards
- The ability to apply tailor expert knowledge to meet specific circumstances
- Intermediate understanding of T-SQL and SQL Server and the ability to build SQL queries that combine tables via joins and add selection criteria

- Invoice finance and asset based lending knowledge
- Python language skills
- Test Analyst capabilities
