The London based Insights & Analytics team is full of smart, innovative, and creative problem solvers and is now looking to expand further with the addition of experienced Data Analysts who have a passion for pragmatic data-driven problem-solving.

In this employee-owned company, with a highly inclusive culture you will support the delivery of some of the most challenging and exciting problems within the sector, from Rail and Highways to Telecoms and Future Energy. Your responsibilities will vary across the entire project lifecycle and will include;

* Leading technical project delivery

* Structuring, performing, and overseeing domain-centric analyses

* Exploring and modelling financial, economic, engineering and/or operational data develop insight and test hypothesis

* Understanding and considering the impact and roadmap from a standalone technical project to integration within the client organisation

* Implementing appropriate project solutions in a reusable manner

* Clearly and concisely presenting results through a variety of mediums, adapting the level of technical content to suit the intended audience

* Leading and generating technical solutions to secure exciting future work

* Contributing to our technical foundations to continuously improve our client offering

* Actively engaging with team growth activities and operational tasks

* Taking a pro-active role in developing the skills of other team members

Your Background

You will be encouraged to bring fresh ideas based on your previous experience and contribute to crafting the team from both a cultural and technical perspective. In return, the business will support and encourage you to develop your capability and experience across many sectors, giving you the freedom to explore and pioneer your interests across a broad project and client base.

To deliver against these responsibilities you will need to demonstrate senior consulting experience in the following technical capabilities:

* Understanding of statistical methods and concepts such as regression-based techniques, quantifying and evaluating uncertainly, sampling methods and probability distributions

* Readable data manipulation in Python, R, or SQL

* Programming in Python or R including module/package management, structuring small to medium sized project, and writing clean, concise code which prioritises readability

* Preparing deliverables such as analytical reports, dashboards, or presentations

It will support your application if you can also demonstrate any combination of the following technical skills:

* Domain-driven and hypothesis-driven data analytics and modelling

* Solid understanding of infrastructure subject matter

* Clear and detailed storytelling and presentational capability regarding technical concepts

* Contributions and improvements to project templates, documentation, and technical playbooks

* Version control (preferably though git)

* Data modelling in a data warehouse

* Requirements capturing
