Description:

We’re looking for an experienced Performance Analyst to join our passionate and enthusiastic Strategic Communications team, to help continue our work to engage Londoners and better showcase everything we do at City Hall.

We’re focused on ensuring the greatest city in the world has world class communications to match, on all channels available to us. With a user first philosophy, we ensure insights sit at the heart of all strategic planning for our proactive campaigns, to ensure we deliver the greatest impact and value for Londoners, via owned, earned and paid channels. We are responsive, ensuring our proactive campaigns are agile and optimised throughout, and our reactive communications are created and delivered with up to the minute insights to help cut through crowded spaces on breaking news.

We’re working hard to support the Mayor and the London Assembly’s objectives to make this the most transparent and engaged administration in London’s history, and you’ll be at the forefront of this historic time. Your work will be vital in shaping key strategic communications for the building – spreading the word of what the Mayor of London and London Assembly are doing, and helping Londoners engage and interact with us.

You’ll be responsible for measuring the performance of owned channels, including www.london.gov.uk and our social media channels, as well as working with multiple teams to provide robust measurement commentary on our earned and paid channel activity . Working with stakeholders from across the building and further afield, you will report on performance and provide insight on where and how changes can be made to improve the user journey and increase engagement.

You’ll work as part of a friendly, flexible and passionate multi-disciplinary team who are practiced and committed to being agile, collaborative and open. As well as access to dozens of in-house training courses you’ll be encouraged and supported in building your skills through relevant external training, conferences, workshops, shadowing and networking. Working with various stakeholders, suppliers and technologies there are plenty of opportunities to learn and develop.

Over the coming weeks and months, we will moving to hybrid working, linked to our relocation programme. As part of this, you will need to split your time between home working and coming into the office. The Mayor has announced that City Hall will be relocating from More London (London Bridge) to the Crystal Building in the Royal Docks. These roles will be based at The Crystal Building (from January 2022). Further information on the relocation announcement, can be found here.
