The Senior Quantitative Analyst ("SQA") will drive the conceptualisation and implementation of an advanced modelling infrastructure for both the underwriting and revaluation of Secured portfolios across different Hoist jurisdictions (currently Italy, France, Spain, Cyprus). The role entails developing a deep conceptual understanding of Secured Non-Performing Loans valuation techniques and methodology, strong modelling skills to create repeatable and automated valuation framework, and great ease managing the architecture of large data sets.

Key responsibilities

* Drive the development of a new Secured Loans Revaluation model across all Hoist markets, with an initial focus in Italy & Spain.

* Develop a comprehensive understanding of valuation techniques & analysis of Secured NPL Portfolios

* Develop a comprehensive understanding of the existing underwriting model of Secured NPL Portfolios

* Ensuring that essential data, necessary for the revaluation, is readily available in the group datawarehouse.

* Assume responsibility of the management of our secured database from the secured investment side

* Develop analytical models and techniques to automate the revaluation process

What are we looking for from you?

* 4-5 years' experience Analytical experience in an investment, financial or operational role

* Experience in Quantitative analytics and/or financial modelling

* Excellent academic credentials in an Economics/ Finance / Mathematical / Computer Science related discipline or equivalent

* Knowledge of NPL markets and asset classes, specifically Secured (advantageous)

* Strong technical ability using data science software and programming languages (SQL / Alteryx / R / Python or other coding languages)

* All candidates must be eligble to work in the UK as Hoist Finance cannot provide sponsorship for visas
