Senior Quantitative Researcher (public health research)

Oxford, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom, £ £ 29000.00-39000.00 Annual Annual, Permanent

Senior Quantitative Researcher - around £29k-£39k & bens - at home or/and within commuting distance of Oxford

Do you have excellent technical skills in social or market research and want to work in a role that improves public healthcare? Then this could be the perfect role for you.

This specialist, non-profit, research agency is an expert in the field of patient care and their work both investigates current practice and informs future policy.

This role is within the team, who design and report on large, complex national surveys so you have the opportunity both to make full use of your technical research skills and to analyse and report on substantial datasets.

You will be creating or developing all aspects of their high-impact, national research programmes, which use a variety of different techniques and methods. Your work will be wide-ranging, including research method and questionnaire design, data analysis and interpretation, report writing and presenting.

Without survey delivery responsibility and with much more direct input to social policy than you'll have in many other agencies, this is a really fascinating role and very rare to find outside London.

The successful candidate will have some post-academic research experience in a commercial or social research environment, including experience of designing research projects.

You will also need to be proactive, very well organised, great at handling and interpreting numerical data and report writing, with fierce attention to detail.

You will have a more junior researcher looking to you for support and guidance and you will also be dealing with clients on a daily basis, so interpersonal skills will also be key
