SQL Data Analyst required by a leading professional services firm working largely within the music industry. The is a rare opportunity to be part of a new business focus centred on music streaming, analysing and reporting on data back to musicians and record business clients in an accessible, beneficial and understandable way. You'll join at a very exciting time, playing an active role in shaping the business and it's processes, driving it forward and implementing your own ideas aimed at client satisfaction.

Established for over 20 years from its prestigious Central London offices, the company has continued to grow and expand. Due to a newly embraced way of working, the SQL Data Analyst will now be able to work remotely permanently, with a working hub available if they were craving that office vibe.

Working within the Digital Royalties Team, the SQL Data Analyst will work to streamline the data reporting process. This will involve maintaining the data warehouse where all royalty-related data resides from around 50 different sources and automating the data-receipt process. The SQL Data Analyst will innovatively and proactively developing the process moving forward, working collaboratively with other team members.

As the right SQL Data Analyst, you will have strong Excel and SQL skills and be able to develop and implement dashboards capable of being viewed by both internal staff and external clients. You'll have a knack for presenting the 'technical' in a way that understandable to all.

In summary, candidates will have:

Proven experience in a data analytics role within the music industry, preferably within music usage reporting and handling large datasets
A strong skill set within SQL and Excel, also beneficial to hold working knowledge of SSIS for ETL procedures
Working knowledge of Visual Studio, SQL Databases and/or Tableau will also be extremely beneficial
Prior experience using standard BI and data management applications
Adept in creating dashboards that are accessible to those of all technical abilities
Familiar with cloud-based technologies such as AWS/Azure
