Stock Data Analyst

Description:

Our client in Shrewsbury has a fantastic opportunity for a Stock Data Analyst to join their exciting company on a permanent basis.

It is a full-time role, Monday-Friday 08.30-17.00. Paying a competitive salary, depending on experience.

You will be responsible for identifying relevant insights and compiling of analytical reports for stock that enables our systems to be updated and accurate.

Duties:

* Develop and maintain databases and reports by analysing data from ERP and also through insights gained from Internal Key stakeholders

* Run reports from ERP and analyse through Excel

* Develop and create management reports on stock, including stock value and non-movement

* Manage inventory levels including: re-order levels (Min and Max stocks), Non Movement stocks and Supplier Conformances

* Analyse and interrogate demand forecasts to identify trends and ensure our systems are reflective of correct levels

* Coordinate Supplier Performance appraisal process and report to management

* Liaise with warehouse personnel, stock control, customer service

* Represent the Company to suppliers, customers and others in a professional and courteous manner

* Assist Stock Control in the raising, negotiating and placing of purchase orders

* Follow up with Suppliers regarding expected receipt dates

* Support the Sourcing team in extracting data to assist in supplier tenders and analysis

* Analyse purchasing data to inform decision making

Required:

* Must have Stock control experience

* Excellent computer skills, including Excel, Word, Powerpoint and ERP (desirable)

* Able to manage time, work to schedules and follow procedures

* Excellent communicator with both internal and external customers

* Resolve problems in a professional manner by identifying how systems can be improved to prevent re-occurring issues
