Systems Data Analyst (Retain International) - 2/3 days WFH option - £45,000 + Great Benefits + Bonus

My client a niche global consultancy with over 650 professional staff across 22 offices are embarking on an exciting phase of growth and currently implementing a new resourcing strategy and associated software.

My client is looking for a Systems Data Analyst to work closely with my clients Resource Management Director to support the success of the Retain International resourcing tool across Europe. The incumbent will adopt a hands-on and flexible approach taking responsibility for testing, data accuracy and compliance in relation to data privacy.

Previous Experience:

  • Experience with implementation and maintenance of people related software within the professional services sector is essential. (Experience in implementing a resource management tool is desirable).
  • Knowledge of Data Privacy Regulations and in-depth understanding of Data quality standards.
  • Experience with Retain International Resource Management tool is strongly desirable.
  • Experience in dealing with different data types and sources, as they relate to Business Information Systems
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL is desirable.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Thorough attention to detail, by working on in-depth Data cross-referencing
  • Ability to work with a high degree of flexibility, especially with respect to taking initiative, prioritizing multiple tasks, and using good judgment to resolve problems.
  • Ability to work with and effectively manage key stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Ability to provide accurate and efficient service under the pressure of constant deadlines.
  • Skilled in organizing tasks and establishing priorities.
  • Ability to gather data, consistently track metrics, and prepare reports.
  • Ability to work with confidential materials and always maintain complete discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and updating the Data Import manually onto the new Resource Management System from various Data sources.
  • Assisting in developing reporting features of the tool eg Utilisation, Forecast and Actual Reports.
  • Cross referencing and checking the reporting features to ensure Data accuracy
  • Act as a point of contact for the tool provider and the IT and Security Internal Stakeholders.
  • Escalation of Tool related issues or problems ensuring that an appropriate resolution is reached.
  • Responsible for User testing, ensuring that all functionalities and customised features are functioning for the launch of the Tool including Prototype, Test plan, Moderation, Documenting Test Results etc.
  • Data accuracy of the system, as well as ensuring that the right Data categories are feeding through to the tool for reporting purposes to include Data sources, Data Quality goals, Data review, Error Reports, accuracy standards etc.
  • Collaboration with our Parent Company's Data Protection Officer to ensure that the implementation complies with Data Privacy such as GDPR, CCPA and all other Data privacy Regulations. This will include security standards certifications for processing of personal data within the new software (Risk Assessment Matrix, Data Categorisation, Data Anonymisation, review access restrictions rights according to regulation etc.)
  • Helping meet key project milestones and timelines within the budgeted requirements.
  • Assist the Resource Management Director with the introduction of new Processes and Policies which will support the success of the project.
