Agile Business Analyst
Description
This project designs and delivers advanced Analytics within the Cyber Security space (including Intelligence, Response and Attack Monitoring).

The main objective of the role is to support the delivery of new functionalities with the Fusion application, analysing new business requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Lead engagement with key stakeholders to develop and define business requirements and solution design including system functional design and process re-engineering to deliver business benefits.
- Work with product managers to break down the planned data propositions into agile stories for development and work with scrum masters/project managers to spell out the detail of delivery
- Understand and map existing processes to inform approach to new functionality build and data integration opportunities
- Represent the team in front of external bodies/stakeholders.
- Support the project delivery phase including testing and training, to ensure the agreed business solutions are delivered successfully.
- Design and maintain highly resilient and scalable technology services.
- Work closely with developers and testers, to ensure delivery of the functionality on time and on quality.
- Provide the required evidences and documentation to the governance bodies.

Required Experience

- Business Analysis skills and expertise in Agile framework, including business requirements, user stories, process mapping and functional design

- Business Analyst with a broad range of experience - we require people with a broad business/product development and analysis experience and not just IT.
- Candidates need to be able to Interact with stakeholders/users to research and understand what internal users are doing day to day, how their processes work, what their goals are then be able to abstract from that what opportunities there are to change/improve things through data propositions
- Ability to identify improvement opportunities and imagine a future state, and support product managers and other stakeholder in realising these goals.
- Have experience of working with product managers to support both product invention and development of new (ideally data/application) products
- Have experience of working with web application and data developers to brief in the components that need to be built
- Context aware - able to understand the bigger picture and extrapolate requirements from the wider context (e.g. understand what is happening in a process and what needs to be changed/developed to improve it)
- Able to work with users/stakeholders to help them see wider possibilities (i.e. not just gather a dictated list of user requirements - ability to probe around a subject to discover opportunities for transformation)
- Have a strong grasp of detail and understanding and documenting processes
- Experience of working on transformational projects
- Change implementation experience and have a track record of large project delivery
- Knowledge and experience of IT Security products and processes
- In depth experience of delivering across the whole of a project lifecycle
- Ability to negotiate / influence at senior level
