Cost Analyst / Project Schedul
Cost and Programme Schedule Analyst - Contract

A Cost and Programme Schedule Analyst is required to join a globally recognised Aerospace company based in the Midlands. The Cost and Programme scheduler will be responsible for developing integrated master plans and schedules in support of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS).

Cost Analyst / Project Scheduler Position Overview

You will be a subject matter expert for scheduling and for current scheduling software (MS Project).
You will be a key contributor to the Integrated Cost and Schedule team to foster continuous improvements in the EVMS system.
Scheduling concepts and how they relate to cost and schedule integration in Earned Value Management.
Schedule management from initial schedule development through programme completion. You will be responsible for developing and accurately maintaining integrated master/ sub- project schedules, ensuring schedule logic is maintained (horizontal & vertical), coordinating work activities with project team members, progressing schedules and assisting in identifying and resolving schedule conflicts.
You will conduct detailed analysis of major programme events as well as key intermediate milestones and, in addition, will coordinate with suppliers to collect and deliver current progress information associated with contractor agreements in order to provide status updates to the Integrated Master Scheduler.
Cost Analyst / Project Scheduler Position Requirements
Experience using MS Project, earned value measurement techniques in cost and schedule performance management.
You will be expected to interpret the status for potential schedule impacts and communicate said impacts to control account/ programme manager and Integrated Product Team Lead.
Strong organisational and project planning ability
High degree of analytical skills
Knowledge of earned value concepts and software applications.
Personal computer experience for Scheduling (Microsoft Project), spreadsheets (Excel), word processing (Word), databases (Access and Hyperion), and presentations is required.
