Innovation and continuous improvement are in our blood at TTS - and our Business Improvement team play a key role in providing the information, systems and processes needed to drive the company forwards. As Customer Insights Analyst you will manipulate and analyse customer data from a wide range of internal and external sources to present clear and actionable insights, working with various stakeholders to use this information in support of data-driven customer improvements across the business.

Job purpose:

Ensure the business has the high-quality management information needed to make decisions by analysing eCommerce and other data/statistics via Tableau, Qlikview, Alteryx, GA and SQL. Support delivery of customer-related objectives through simplification and analytical problem-solving alongside BAU tasks such as website performance reporting and single customer view analysis.

What you'll do:

* Lead consumer research operations and project management
* Ensure that the latest, most-effective qualitative and quantitative research solutions are applied to best answer the questions at the heart of the business
* Take ownership from proposal writing and research design through to analysis, distillation and knowledge sharing
* Immerse yourself within Direct and Product Marketing, Merchandising and Creative Services to build effective research questions and solutions contributing to key commercial decisions
* Demonstrate and inspire industry best practice, driving organisational understanding of research techniques at TTS
* Present insights and research recommendations to stakeholders in a straightforward and concise manner

What we're looking for:

* Qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in a related subject e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, or a similar discipline
* Proven experience in manipulating and analysing complex customer data, including specific experience in customer insights generation and quantitative and qualitative customer research
* Highly IT literate with experience of using visual analytic tools. Candidates with 3+ years' experience of Tableau and Qlikview will have a distinct advantage
* Experience with SQL, advanced Excel, Google Analytics, Alteryx
* Demonstrable ability to rapidly make sense of complex data
* Able to clearly and simply communicate your insights to a diverse set of stakeholders
* Able to work confidently with colleagues as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver analytical projects on time and on budget in a fast-paced environment.
