Location: Cheddar, Somerset
Salary: Up to £25k + Benefits
Contract: Permanent, Full time

Data Analyst - The Role

FSC is a family business with 27 years of award winning experience in creating, rolling out and managing bespoke customer food-on-the-move solutions. Our customers include a selection of blue-chip companies in various industries, such as Shell, Debenhams and John Lewis.

We offer a range of consultancy services drawing on our in depth knowledge of the food-on-the-move sector and have managed projects in South America, North America, Asia, Scandinavia and several European countries.

Our Head Office is located in the world famous village of Cheddar and, although many of the team are based throughout the UK and Europe, we regularly get together to review performance, share best practice and socialise!

As well as working in a challenging and fast moving environment, we believe it\'s important to have a big chunk of fun and no day is ever the same at FSC.

Data Analyst - Duties:

This role is heavily focused around ensuring data led processes are streamlined and efficient; identifying and supporting process changes where necessary. Data management across the business is also key; making sure that data is accurate and easily accessible to the rest of the business. Creating automated processes for data processing is also a pivotal part of the role.

The role is focused around presenting easy to read business intelligence to key parts of the business, using your skills to create dashboards that can be used internally and in client-led areas.
KPI\'s

• To improve business competence in interpreting data and creating a strategy.
• Create high-level data dashboards, graphs and visualisations for both internal & external use
• Set up and maintain automated data processes
• Streamline source data to effectively to ensure reporting accuracy is maintained as well as to monitor and audit data quality
• Identify process improvements across departments and suggest solutions
• To prioritise workload and react to situations as and when they arise
• Identify, evaluate and implement external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing
• Support production and tracking of key performance indicators
• Liaise with internal and external clients to fully understand data content
• Manipulate, analyse and interpret complex data sets relating to commercials.
• Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools

Flexibility

Perform any other duties and objectives as required from time to time in order to contribute effectively to the achievement of the business aims and objectives. Hours may need to flexible to both suit FSC and your other business.
Data Analyst - Key Skills & Qualifications

You will have a keen eye for detail, be able to work under tight deadlines and use creative technical skills to present solutions and organise data in a format that can be used across the business.

• Advanced user of Microsoft Office including Excel.
• Proven experience in using data visualisation platforms e.g. SAP (crystal reporting), Microsoft BI, Sisense etc.
• Experience in programming languages- both SQL & VBA are desirable.
• Interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Excellent presentation skills
• Self-motivated
• Time Management
• Able to work as part of a team
• Willing to learn through self-development
• Full Driving Licence
• University degree in data or numeric field (or equivalent qualifications) is desirable
