Global IT PMO Analyst - 3 months contract

The Global IT PMO Analyst will be integral to the Global IT PMO team. The individual will be involved in supporting core PMO processes as well as supporting our Global Practice Management System (GPMS) transformation programme, driving delivery of milestones and ensuring the necessary accuracy and due-diligence is in place. This is a high profile PMO Analyst role with the individual being at the centre of significant change being delivered into Norton Rose Fulbright, working across the project lifecycle and with stakeholders across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities of the role include
Support the GPMS transformation programme go-live 'cutover' activity. Specifically this includes preparing status reports, preparing and tracking criteria to enable a 'Dress Rehearsal' and tracking and supporting the completion of actions and resolution of risks. Co-ordination and support of the communications plan for the GPMS transformation programme, ensuring the communications plan is well designed and aligned to the programme plan and go live activity, interfacing with communication managers and workstream leads. Suport the Service Delivery and Transition team in planning their key activities leading up to go-live, understanding and documenting their key dependencies, and tracking their progress. Support core Global PMO processes such as project governance, reporting, document management, risk and issue management and meeting facilitation. Support project post go live change management, in particular with targeted communications with the IT Services team. Supporting the Global IT PMO Manager to develop and enhance PMO services and drive adoption of standards across the regions.
Candidate profile:
The individual should be comfortable working within a fast-paced global environment supporting PMO and Project Managers in the completion of objectives. Excellent organisation and analytical skills with a real attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to help 'champion' the role of the PMO within the organisation. Strong experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint. Knowledge and experience with SAP and Microsoft Project an advantage. Knowledge and experience within the Legal or Financial Services industry an advantage. 5 years minimum experience within a PMO role within an IT environment required.
