Head of Analytics & Transformation
The Head of Analytics Transformation, leads Analytics Transformation from a cost, capability and delivery perspective and manages major business transformation, comprising multiple delivery programmes, which deliver and support the Group strategy, values and behaviours. The role holder acts as a primary contact for the business and leads the business relationship and change portfolio for that area. The role holder is expected to play the role of a 'trusted advisor' to the Risk COO by constructively challenging thinking and helping prioritise change needs. The role holder is accountable for making complex business wide decisions, quality assurance, delivering high value financial improvement initiatives and creating an environment for development and capability uplift within the Global Transformation priority markets. The role holder is required to support the creation of a World Class Business Engineering organisation which is recognised as market leading both internally and externally. Credit analytics forms the foundation for sound retail risk management, as analytic perspectives are the basis for key policy, underwriting, accounting and collections decisions. Strong analytics ultimately results in good credit performance across business cycles, and in a sustainable business model. Regulatory expectations and business requirements for analytics continue to significantly increase. As a result the demand for analytics output is increasing at the same time that the method and approach to analytics must change and be much stronger. This role will be responsible for the majority of the analytics transformation agenda globally. The core aspects to the role are as follows: Delivery of the Analytics Transformation Programme, including both Advanced Analytics and Analytics Effectiveness initiatives Delivery of cost saves targets for the function Ownership of the IT Order Book Deploy appropriate transformation approaches dependent on the nature of the project. This may include structured project delivery as well as more iterative approaches Drives the delivery of transformation objectives in line with wider strategy, to enable the achievement of business results Develops standards and leads improvement and efficiency programs for analytics areas. Prioritises and sponsors projects to realise opportunities to deliver efficiencies across analytics in line with Group Strategy and Risk Appetite Provide leadership and direction in managing the various analytic change programs Define business strategy for Risk Transformation in conjunction and in line with overall Global Risk Transformation strategy and business direction. Shape plans and drive strategy, make complex decisions in support of the Group's strategy and values Develop long and short term plans for Risk Analytics in accordance with the Global Risk Transformation strategy and lead its implementation through resource, cost and programme management Collaborate with the business, function and regional leadership and delivery partners to identify opportunities to generate demand in to Global Risk Transformation Define and articulate to stakeholders the targeted benefits to drive sponsorship levels within Risk Analytics. Engage and collaborate with stakeholders to create buy in for risk mitigation and contingency plans Ensure global programmes have sufficient support/resource from the sub-function and changes are implemented successfully. Bring strong domain knowledge of Analytics Transformation and consult the sub-function to manage and maximise impact on their business and customers due to the change effort.
