IT Cyber Security Analyst
Description
Main Tasks & Responsibilities

Manage requirements, artefacts, activities and processes for identifying cyber security requirements and provisions, implementing systems and business changes.

Responsible for identifying and mitigating risks to the on-board and ground side systems, applications and infrastructure, later also corporate information systems and applications, along with overseeing the subsequent project and change management.

Support coordination of multiple stakeholders and gain management approval for business (process) changes relating to refresh of cyber security.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience and a proven track-record of:

- Previous experience in a similar cyber security role
- Risk management and mitigation, especially producing security KPI's and fact-based measurement of risk.
- Tangible knowledge of Security standards, principles and practices
- Producing and delivering security awareness and training material.
- Producing and sending out security newsletters.
- Reviewing and maintaining security policy documents, assessments, pen test results and assurance documentation.
- Supporting accreditation of ISO27001
- Cyber security work stream board attendance.
- Working closely with cyber security suppliers, the Engineering and Hermes teams, Business Assurance and the compliance team.

Demonstrable skills, experience and attributes to include:

- Good understanding of security risk identification and assessment
- Proven responsibilities with regard to at least 4 of the following information security areas: Security Incident Management; Security Architecture & Strategy; Identity & Access Management; Data Security & Information Lifecycle Management; Security Audit, Assurance & Compliance; Security Awareness & Training; Encryption & Key Management; Network Security & Remote Access; Change Control & Configuration Management; Physical Security; Business Continuity Management, Operational Resilience & DR; Operational Security
- Hands-on experience with technologies such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, intrusion detection systems, network behaviour analysis
- Ability to comprehend and adapt to complex, rapidly changing processes, threats and vulnerabilities
- Dependable and consistent in successfully participating in multiple work streams and activities which vary in priority, scope and complexity
- Strong written, verbal, visualisation communicator with proven ability to talk in layman's terms about security
- Able to provide technical security support and change agency for constant improvement of the company's security posture
- Beneficial would be exposure to: Operating system security, ideally Windows; HR Security & Acceptable Use; Data centre, Infrastructure & Virtualization Security; System Development Security; Application & Development Security; Supplier & Procurement Security; Supply Chain Management Security; E-Discovery & Forensics; Endpoint Security; Mobile Device Security;

Essential Skills & Qualifications

- Experience of dealing with stakeholders, customers and suppliers at all levels
- CISSP/CISM preparatory course work
