IT Service Desk Analyst
Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Service Desk Analyst to join our in-house IT team based in Forest Row, East Sussex. You will be the first point of contact providing first-line support to end users. Rydon is a successful construction, development, maintenance, investment and management group operating throughout England, predominantly in London and the southern counties. We are a dynamic, multi talented organisation, working across a wide range of sectors within the built environment.

Job Purpose:

As part of the role you will be recording the details of reported IT service issues and service requests. You will troubleshoot these issues and work to restore service, when possible upon first contact and as quickly as possible. In some cases you will need to liaise and escalate issues on to the appropriate 2nd & 3rd line support teams.

You will also respond to user inquiries regarding the status of their incident and perform follow ups to ensure issues are resolved. Other aspects of the role will include password resets, installing printers, managing email data limits, assisting with mobile phone configuration and contributing to the creation of FAQ documents and user guides.

Working in an ITIL focused Service Desk environment your focus will be on increasing the first time fix rate and improving customer satisfaction. Experience Required:

The preferred candidate will have previous experience in an ITIL and service support environment and qualified to ITIL Foundation. Knowledge of the following; Active Directory management, Windows 7/10 and Office 2010, Dell desktop and laptop hardware, telephone and smartphone technology is all desirable however not essential. Above all, the preferred candidate will have excellent technical troubleshooting abilities and customer service skills, be able to engage with users at all levels and have a high level of accuracy.
