Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant - London Borough of Bromley - Full Time - £20,000-£23,00 per annum - Permanent Role - Starting in September 2017

***Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant required in a Pupil Referral Unit
***Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant based in Bromley
***Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant with a 2:1 or above in a Maths related degree
***Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant with strong behaviour management skills
***Ideally will have experience with children or in youth work etc.

The Role - Maths Teaching Assistant

For this Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant role you first of all must hold a minimum of a 2:1 in a Maths related degree like Maths, Economics, Accounting etc. Furthermore, you must have good interpersonal skills as well as an adaptive personality as some of the students you will be working with may require extra support in lessons, you will mainly be based in the Maths department of this PRU. These students will have challenging behaviour and so you must have a very confident, patient, adaptive and enthusiastic personality, with the ability to implement discipline as and when needed. This PRU are looking for a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant that can be a role model to the students they support.

The School - Maths Teaching Assistant

This Pupil Referral Unit is found in the London Borough of Bromley and caters for students from KS3 up to KS4. The School is rather newly built and has state of the art facilities to ensure that all needs of their students are met to a high standard, promoting social and academic development at all stages. The school provide learning to pupils that have been excluded from mainstream school and most present challenging behaviour. The main aim of the school is to facilitate and support the successful reintegration of pupils back into mainstream school.

This is an ideal role for a Maths graduate that is looking to gain experience prior to teachers training as it will ensure that you will improve and enhance on your behaviour management skills and prepare you for the challenges you may face as a teacher.
