Project and Data Analyst
Description
Our clients is looking for an experienced Project & Data Analyst for their Birmingham office. You will be responsible for assisting in driving improvements in the business by managing MI, Scorecard Data, Customer and Project information through the business management systems. You will communicate effectively within the Operational Teams and Support functions to identify key areas where changes are to be made and will ensure integrity of key business data by analysing, monitoring and measuring information.

You will be confident to drive improvements through portal and reporting data and manage the asset contracts, liaising between operational teams, contractors and internal departments.

Responsibilities:

·Collation and in-depth verification of data from various business reporting systems and from Operational Managers in the field
·Generation of management reports to support data validation
·Generate new ideas and support new initiatives
·To verify and interrogate comprehensive data to recommend effective improvements for the business
·Assist the Business Support Manager in the development of all Support projects and business initiatives
·Fully support business change, driving it through with data management control
·Produce and analyse trend and management information
·Responsibility of the service contracts, including liaison between operational teams and contractors, troubleshooting and problem solving, production of management information and control of service
·Identify and rectify data issues within the management system
·Be the key contact for Management for all Support project information to ensure the achievement of the set goals within the agreed timescales
·Proactively assist the Business Support Manager in all new technical project data gathering and verification
·Proactively seek ways of improving data within the Management System
to identify key areas for development

About you:

·Ability to use SMART planning to ensure projects are completed within agreed timescales and to budget
·Excellent IT Skills
·Logical approach to Problem Solving Ability to interpret and understand data, and the importance of validation
·An aptitude for data analysis, demonstrating the skills to drive improvement through interrogation and suggested process improvements
·Ability to quickly learn new software and business systems
·Excelled IT skills
·Experience in use of reporting tools like Microstrategy or business objects
·Attention to detail is imperative, therefore pride and passion in the role is key

The role is initially a temporary contract but with a view to go permanent.
