Quality Controller
Description
I am looking for a Quality Controller for a well-established friendly firm in South Bristol.
Hours of work Monday - Friday 10.00am - 3pm or up to 35 hours a week.
Free parking on site, excellent training and support.
You will receive a salary of £20,000 - £24,000 FTE

The Quality Controller's role is to manage the company's inventory and support its sales processes by carrying out administrative and supporting warehouse activities at the company's head office. The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience within a Quality Control position.
Main Duties

o Handling all matters relating to the quality of incoming, on site and outgoing goods
o Reporting and reviewing quality metrics to inform areas for improvement
o Defining quality procedure improvements in conjunction with operating staff
o Work with warehouse staff to maintain quality standards for incoming goods, in- process production/assembly, and finished products
o Collaborate with warehouse personnel to ensure manufactured/assembled products are of consistent quality
o Manage customer complaints & returns in a correct and timely manner
o Maintain harmonious working relationship with Suppliers
o Looking at ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency
o Health and safety

General Responsibilities
o Ensure customer requests and orders are processed and concluded in a timely manner to our customers' satisfaction
o Handle customer service queries in a professional, timely, and courteous manner
o All interactions (Including phone calls, emails, meetings, etc.) with potential or existing customers are to be recorded on the company ERP software
o Carry out daily activities in line with the company's policies, procedures, and
processes; updating appropriate records and performing appropriate transactions.
o Ensure the complete and timely payment for goods and services by customers
o Support field based sales and support staff in their roles
o Maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times
o Taking equal responsibility in identifying skill and knowledge shortcomings, and suggesting ways to address these shortcomings
o Taking equal responsibility in improving the company's processes
o Keeping management informed of any significant issues or changes in any areas in which you are working

Skills
