Exact working hours: Part-time (4 days per week)

Any further details: Full time Equivalent £24,000 p.a.

About the Role

We are Sight for Surrey - an ambitious charity offering a lifetime of support to people who are blind or partially sighted, Deaf, blind or hard of hearing. Our mission is to support people to overcome their day-to-day challenges, achieve their potential and lead an independent life. Established in 1922, we are a countywide charity based in Fetcham, near Leatherhead.

We are looking to recruit a Statistics & Database Officer to assist the Senior Management team and Department Managers to gather, monitor and collate statistics using the database for use in external and internal reporting purposes. The post holder will oversee and create mailing distribution lists and assist with the development of new data collection processes when required.

The postholder will need to have excellent Microsoft Access and Excel skills and experience of database maintenance as well as inputting. They will need to be proactive and suggest and develop processes and reports to make maximum use of the database to provide accurate statistics and also able to provide database/IT training to support new workers.
