Trade Analyst

We have exciting opportunities to join our Operation teams in Brindleyplace, Birmingham as a Trade Analyst.

Our teams work with importers and exporters to provide a range of award-winning Trade finance services to maximise the financial benefits of our SME, Mid-markets and Global Corporate clients.

In this Trade Analyst role you will carry out a range of technical processes or customer service activities, to support international and domestic trade transactions together with related finance arrangements for customers across all business market segments and heritages.

You will ensure that the work is completed accurately and adheres to all specified Bank processes, procedures, standards and relevant external regulations.

You will need to resolve enquiries, conduct individual Transaction Risk Assessments and confirm Know Your Customer documentation in place, taking ownership of escalating concerns, where identified, through appropriate channels whilst demonstrating core Lloyds Banking Group values & behaviors as a team member.

Demonstrable Customer Service experience would be an advantage and ideally you will need working knowledge of at least one of the following products - Documentary Collections, Documentary Credits or Guarantees.

You will need to evidence your ability to work under pressure on your own initiative and as part of a team and you will have a constructive and proactive approach to all aspects of the role, and use your skills to probe and challenge constructively.

A good knowledge of Banking and its environment in order to understand the end to end customer experience is essential.
